By installing or using Hidden Value ("the Extension"), you agree to these terms. The Extension is operated by Digital Origin Pty Ltd ("we", "us").
What the Extension does
Hidden Value is a productivity tool that tracks time spent on websites you choose to monitor and reframes that time as opportunity cost. It provides intervention screens, auto-close features, and progress tracking to help reduce distraction.
Free and Pro tiers
The Extension offers a free tier with limited features and a paid Pro tier with full access. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from the Extension's Settings tab.
Free trial and refunds
Pro subscriptions include a free trial period. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged. After the trial, payments are non-refundable, though we may consider refunds for exceptional circumstances at our discretion. Contact hello@gethiddenvalue.com to discuss.
Accuracy
Time tracking, earnings calculations, and focus scores are estimates based on the information you provide (hourly rate, tracked sites, goals). They are not financial advice and should not be treated as precise accounting.
Availability
We aim to keep the Extension available and functional, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Chrome updates, browser changes, or server issues may occasionally affect functionality.
Your responsibilities
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (hourly rate, sites, goals).
- You agree not to reverse-engineer, redistribute, or misuse the Extension.
- You agree not to abuse the payment system or circumvent tier restrictions.
Limitation of liability
The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any lost productivity, income, or data arising from use of the Extension. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the Extension or this page.
